Happy Early 4th of July!

When you follow the Chiropractic Lifestyle we live for these kinds of holidays because frying up steaks on the grill is what we do every day ๐Ÿคฃ

Be careful out there this weekend. If you must drink, please don’t drive. Even if your Uber costs $1,000 it’s still cheaper than a DUI or losing your life.

The food plan is still holding strong! Someone asked me if I ever get bored of eating steak and eggs every day, and I honestly do not. I love steak and eggs. A few years ago, when I use to just eat chicken or ground turkey every day, that definitely got boring. But for some reason, I look forward to my big steak and egg lunch each day.

Happy Summer ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Another week down, time is just flying!

I hope everyone is getting outside and enjoying this beautiful weather. It’s finally feeling like summer. I try to get outside and get at least 15 minutes of sunshine 4 to 5 times a week. This is really important to help ensure you are getting enough vitamin D.

This week FoodMaxx was having a sale on ribeye’s, so I’ve been enjoying these juicy steaks. I think FoodMaxx has the best deals on beef. I usually go for flat iron steaks but they often have sales on better quality cuts.

So, I’ve been getting super lean from hitting the stairmaster in the morning after my weight training, and I definitely like it a lot more than the elliptical.

Here Comes Summer ๐ŸŒ…

It feels so good being able to do cardio with no mask!

The food plan is going great. It’s so easy and convenient. I’m never hungry and I don’t have any cravings.  

My workouts are strong, efficient, and consistent. I’ve been getting stronger even though I’m getting leaner.

My energy levels are constant all day long and I’m getting some good sleep. I like to go to bed at around 10 pm and I wake up every day at 6 am.

Abs of Steel ๐Ÿ˜

I hope everyone had a great week!

My food plan is going better than ever. I definitely don’t miss drinking coffee at all. The green tea is amazing. I actually tried a new type of warm beverage today, which is 100% pure ground cacao. It’s not flavored but definitely tastes just like liquid chocolate ๐Ÿ˜‹.

The workouts are going strong, I’ve been going every day and twice a day two times per week to squeeze in some arms. I do my cardio after my weight training now. I also switched my cardio over to the Stair Master. The Stair Master is a beast! Definitely harder than the elliptical machine.

I have noticed a big difference in my body composition. Like I was saying in my last post, I am entering a whole new realm of leanness. I love feeling lean and light. However, my body weight is still lingering at about 180lbs and my strength levels are going up week by week.

I’m really looking forward to next week after Tuesday because then we can finally take these masks off! Doing cardio with a mask on is no fun, especially when you start to sweat. ๐Ÿฅต

Great Balls Of Fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Wow, if you ever stop drinking coffee, be prepared for some headaches. ๐Ÿค• It took about 5 days for the headaches to finally stop. They were worse in the morning and eased up during the day. 

The transition back to green tea is great though. I love the flavor actually more than coffee. I think what really attracted me to coffee before was when I was able to add sweetened vanilla creamer. But when I stopped consuming sugar, other than fruit, the black coffee isn’t the same.   

Otherwise, the food plan is on point; still rocking the steak and eggs every day. I’ve been doing that now for over 2 years and my health is better than ever. It’s amazing to think how the human body can live on just steak and eggs. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
