Sunny Days 🌞

Wow, I can’t believe we are already done with March! This year is just flying by!

I ended up changing up my food plan intake times. Now, I went back to eating my eggs with my beef. I just find it to be more convenient than splitting the meals up into different times. I actually enjoy combining the eggs, cheese, and beef. It tastes really good together. Also, when I wait until 1pm to eat, then I’m actually starting to feel hungry around that time.

I also decided on leg days that I will not do cardio those days. It’s not because I’m tired, it’s because I keep straining my hamstring muscles, so I’m thinking my legs may be fatigued from the cardio, which is predisposing me to muscle strain due to muscular fatigue.

I hope everyone has a great week and stay safe out there!

We Are All The Same ðŸĪ

I hope everyone had a wonderful week living the Chiropractic Lifestyle!

The food plan is going great and the workouts are on point. I really like the schedule of eating I’m currently on, and my food choices are keeping me satisfied. I’m maintaining my lean muscle and burning fat like crazy!

My morning workouts are working out great. I like the switch up I made from a 4-day rest period, back to a 3-day rest period. My muscles like the increase in frequency.

I actually have to do my arm workout in the evening though, twice per week to make up for the change. I usually time it so that I can do my grocery shopping after I work out.

I’m still doing cardio every day for 30 minutes before my weight training. I barely break a sweat on the cardio, but my heart rate is at about 130 bpm. I’ve noticed just adding this little bit of cardio every day has accelerated my fat loss. Ironically, I haven’t lost any muscles or felt any weaker from doing cardio before my weight training.

I also train on an empty stomach and that doesn’t make a difference at all in my strength and energy levels. I laugh at all these people who waste their money on pre-workout drinks, or think they have to have food before they work out. Total nonsense.

When I begin my weight training in the morning, not only am I doing it after cardio, I’m doing in a fasted state, since I stop eating every day at 2 pm. So that’s 17 hours of no food and my work outs are strong than ever.

This is what you have to do. Experiment and see what works for you. I’m no different than anyone else. If what I do works for me, then it will work for you. This is the whole point of this blog to help people live longer and better.

If I can do it, so can you.

Living That Life 🏖️

The food plan is going great! I’m been staying consistent and have not had a cheat meal in over a month. To me a cheat meal is enjoying an occasional bag of popcorn. Normally, I would do that about once per week, but lately I’m just trying to burn off the last few ounces of fat from Covid-25. My body composition is back to where it was before covid but now I’m blowing through my goals and getting superman ripped!

I’ve been doing really light cardio on the elliptical every day for 30 minutes before my weight training, and I think it’s a great way to get your cardio in and warm up your body. I hardly break a sweat but I can tell my core body temperature is elevated.

I’m going back to a 4-day weight training cycle; I feel a better pump in my muscles when I only rest 3 days in between muscle groups instead of 4. This means twice a week I have to go to the gym once in the morning and once at night to do arms and calves.

Stay healthy my friends and have a productive week!

Pay the Piper 💰

Another month in the books! Time is so precious. When people say time speeds up the older you get, they are 100% right! When you are young, you think you have so much time, but in reality, you don’t.

Always appreciate and be grateful for what you have and the time you are allowed. This whole life experience is a gift. Don’t let your daily stress blind you to the miracle of life.

If you want to enjoy life with optimal function, the one thing you must take care of is your health. Health is the one thing that is mandatory for life function. Without health you can’t do anything. Health is the one thing that you can’t buy. So be respectful to your body and keep living the lifestyle it needs to function at 100%
