One Month Done!

Wow time sure passes quickly! It's hard to believe a whole month has gone by and I've been able to keep up my Chiropractic Wellness Lifestyle with no problem. I'm feeling amazing, all my aches and pains are gone, and I have energy all day long. I remember when I use to live a different way and every day after my big Subway lunch or a huge burrito lunch, I would start feeling low on energy around 2pm. Now my energy levels are constant all day. I absolutely love eating all organic, it's really easy and affordable. I eat a lot of food so anyone else following my lead would save even more money. Here is my Trader Joe's receipt for my food this week:

My food this week only cost $75.54 and that includes almost every thing except the Chia seeds because I still have some left. Here is my food plan for the week:

Breakfast ~ Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Red Drink, 2 cups organic raspberries with a handful of walnuts
Lunch ~ 4 Hardboiled eggs, 1/2 cup quinoa, 2 tbs butter, 2 tbs Chia Seeds, 2 cups steamed carrots, and 2 cups steamed broccoli
Mid-Afternoon ~ Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Green Drink, 1 organic apple
Dinner ~ 2 cups yogurt, 2 cups blueberries, 1 banana, handful walnuts, cinnamon, 1 tbs honey
Evening ~ Isalean Shake, 2 organic oranges
Seasonings (lunch) ~ Turmeric, Salt, Pepper, Frank's Hot Sauce

A lot of people, outside of my blog here, keep asking me how I eat the same thing every week. I usually would understand how one can go crazy always eating the same thing; however I love my food plan and I'm not sick of it. In fact, I look forward to each meal, even though I'm never hungry! I also never crave junk food. Nasty fast food does not even seem good anymore. I think my entire physiology is changing on a cellular level.

I'm still loving my work out routine doing: 4 days on/ 4 days on/ No rest; Chest/Back, Arms, Shoulders, Legs, Repeat. I feel like my muscles are getting stronger each subsequent work out. I'm sticking to just 20 minutes of high intensity interval training of swimming. I'm such a slow swimmer though. Even my so called "spint" is slow. A friend of mine suggested that I kick harder. So I tried that yesterday and it definitely made a huge difference, plus it makes me more tired.

I took a few days off from doing jump rope as a warm up before the weights because my heel was hurting, but now pain is gone and I'm back at it. Great way to warm up!

After my weight training I'm also stretching in the steam room and sauna. I think it's one of the best places to stretch. The heat is really intense but keeps everything loose. On a side note, hopefully no one reading this thinks sitting in the sauna or steam room will help you burn fat. You will definitely lose water weight but you will not lose body fat that way. I can tell a lot of guys that go into the sauna and steam room are doing it thinking they are losing fat. Too bad they aren't following the Chiropractic Wellness Lifestyle, then they would know and see the truth.

I missed my spinal check-up yesterday, but today I'm going. I love going to my Chiropractor and getting the power turned on!! Keeping my spine free of subluxations is the most important part of the Chiropractic Wellness Lifestyle, because if you don't have FULL LIFE POWER going to all your organs and muscles, then there is now way you can function at your best and express life to your fullest potential.

Thanks for reading...see you next week!

Life is Good

Living well is easy. I had no problem eating healthy all week. I thought I would have some challenges because I attended a party over the weekend, and I knew there would be all sorts of food temptations. On the day of the party, I simply brought my Isalean shake with me along with my shaker cup. I love how my shakes are individually wrapped so I don't have to lug around a huge canister. When it was time for my 9pm meal I just filled my shaker cup up with some cold water, added my Isalean shake, and drink it down. So simple.

I think people need to stop looking at food as entertainment. Food is just fuel. Parties should be more about getting together and socializing. The food is just there if you are hungry. However most food choices at parties are horrible for you. Ever since I've been eating clean and healthy my cravings for the junk food is gone. Everyday is enjoyable and easy, I never even think about food. When it comes time to eat during the day I am literally not hungry at all. It just blows my mind  because when I was eating unhealthy food I use to always get hungry again fast. The way I'm doing it now totally keeps me satisfied.

My wellness lifestyle groceries cost less this week because I'm going out of town so I only bought enough for  four days, and the rest I will buy there. So this week so far it came out to $54.23

My daily food intake for this week will be the same as last week except for no sunflower seeds:

Breakfast ~ Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Red Drink, 2 cups organic raspberries with a handful of walnuts
Lunch ~ 4 Hardboiled eggs, 1/2 cup quinoa, 2 tbs butter, 2 tbs Chia Seeds, 2 cups steamed carrots, and 2 cups steamed broccoli
Mid-Afternoon ~ Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Green Drink, 1 organic apple
Dinner ~ 2 cups yogurt, 2 cups blueberries, 1 banana, handful walnuts, cinnamon, 1 tbs honey
Evening ~ Isalean Shake, 2 organic oranges
Seasonings (lunch) ~ Turmeric, Salt, Pepper, Frank's Hot Sauce

My workouts last week went great. Each day I did about 2 muscle groups: Monday Chest/Back, Tuesday Arms, Wednesday Shoulders, Thursday Legs, Friday Repeat. So I'm going every day and not taking any rest days. Before each workout I'm doing 10 mins of HIIT with the jump rope to warm up and every other day I'm doing interval training after my work out in the pool for 20-25 minutes.

I just got back from my Chiropractor and got my spine checked and adjusted. Now I have full life power going to all my organs, muscles, and glands.

I love being healthy and teaching others how to be healthy. It's all about expressing life to maximum capacity. Every day is a gift and life is full of endless possibilities.

Life is flowing!

This week was awesome! I love eating like this, I feel so healthy, tons of energy, and after breakfast I'm never hungry! I literally have to force myself to eat because I'm totally satisfied.

Here we go for another week living the chiropractic wellness lifestyle.

Food this week only costs $78.38. My daily intake will look like this:

Breakfast ~ Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Red Drink, 2 cups organic raspberries with a handful of walnuts
Lunch ~ 4 Hardboiled eggs, 1/2 cup quinoa, 2 tbs butter, 2 tbs Chia Seeds, 2 cups steamed carrots, and 2 cups steamed broccoli
Mid-Afternoon ~ Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Green Drink, 1 organic apple
Dinner ~ 2 cups yogurt, 2 cups blueberries, 1 banana, handful walnuts, cinnamon, 1 tbs honey
Evening ~ Isalean Shake, 2 organic oranges
Snacks ~ Sunflower Seeds
Seasonings (lunch) ~ Turmeric, Salt, Pepper, Frank's Hot Sauce

I took out the Cliff bars and organic popcorn. With the Cliff bars I just don't feel comfortable consuming soy, so if I really need to snack on a bar I will go with an organic whey Isalean bar from Isagenix.

My exercise is picking up. Now I'm exercising every day. One day I do Chest and Back, next day Biceps and Triceps, then Shoulders, and finally Legs. Then I repeat exercises on 5th day. Before I start my weight training each day I'm jumping rope for 10 minutes. I jump for 30 seconds and rest for 30 seconds. Awesome warm up! I think once I get use to it I want to do it for 20 minutes. Every other day I'm starting swimming now for 20 minutes of high intensity interval training.

OK well off to go turn the power on with chiropractic!

Loving Life

Eating clean and staying lean is pretty easy! I felt great all week, never felt hungry, and was totally satisfied. It still amazes me that when I wake up in the morning I feel a little hungry from not eating all night, but as soon as I have my shake the hunger instantly goes away. I know there's no way I could do this without my delicious and satisfying shakes!

I finished my all my shopping yesterday and it only cost me about $74. I also had to pick up my organic green tea, organic cliff bars, turmeric, organic honey and hot sauce at Target because it's cheaper then Trader Joe's. I want to show how affordable eating all organic can be as well.

This week I traded in the chia seeds for flaxseeds, but I think I'm going to give them away and stick with chia seeds. Today I was reading that chia seeds are much better for you, and men should avoid flaxseeds due to estrogen precursors.

Food plan for this week is going to be:

Breakfast ~ Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Red Drink, 2 cups organic raspberries with a handful of walnuts
Lunch ~ 4 Hardboiled eggs, 1/2 cup quinoa, 2 tbs butter, 2 tbs Chia Seeds, 2 cups steamed carrots, and 2 cups steamed broccoli
Mid-Afternoon ~ Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Green Drink, 1 organic apple
Dinner ~ 2 cups yogurt, 2 cups blueberries, 1 banana, handful walnuts, cinnamon, 1 tbs honey
Evening ~ Isalean Shake, 2 organic oranges
Snacks ~ Organic Popcorn, Cliff Bars, Sunflower Seeds
Seasonings (lunch) ~ Turmeric, Salt, Pepper, Frank's Hot Sauce

Staying healthy and leading by example has never been easier!

Talk to you next week :)
