Good Times Rolling 🏖️

The morning workouts are back in action. I forgot how much I love getting my workouts done in the morning. The gym is relatively empty, there’s no waiting for machines, and the morning crowd is usually pretty cool. Early workouts also open up your evenings for other activities. There is no better feeling than getting off of work and knowing that you can do whatever you want because your daily workout is already in the books!

My workout schedule, along with my eating regime, also opens up weekends for fun activities and adventures. When you get all your healthy responsibilities done in the first part of the day, then you don’t have to worry about working out or eating for the rest of the day. It gives you a great sense of accomplishment and freedom.

This is the season for festivals, concerts, beach trips, hikes, camping, and other fun activities. It’s time to get the work done and have some fun this summer. When you are feeling healthy, you will feel happier doing anything that you love.

I hope everyone has a great week and stay on track.

Sunny Days Are Here Again 🌞

Looks like we are back to normal here in San Jose ðŸ™Œ

This is a great time of the year to work on yourself and try to improve your physical and mental health. When you live the Chiropractic Lifestyle, the physical part of your health should already be easy. Now, you should work on your emotional health by getting out into nature, meditating, starting a new hobby, reading inspiring books, and mending relationships with family and friends. This is important so you can function normally and stick with your Chiropractic Lifestyle plan.

My food plan is phenomenal! I’m loving how I feel and function throughout the day and how I perform in the gym. It’s important to experiment with your macros and discover what combination of protein, fat, and carbohydrates works for you. I’m an advocate of a higher protein and fat diet and a lower carbohydrate intake. However, carbs aren’t all that bad and are beneficial if you are exercising regularly. The only carbs I would recommend are fruits and honey. You have to be careful with starchy carbs though, because of all the extra ingredients they have. I recommend potatoes or rice and stay clear of bread and other flour-based carbohydrates.

The exercise plan and spinal care plan are consistent and effectively keeping my body strong and my mobility normal. I switched back to morning workouts because I prefer getting everything done first thing in the morning. If you have the time, this is the best time.

Well, have a great week, and keep doing what you must do to stay healthy.

Blazing Hot ðŸ”Ĩ

Bring on the heat ðŸĨĩ

I had another amazing week living, practicing, and teaching the Chiropractic Lifestyle. The food plan is phenomenal and keeping me my body healthy. I have energy all day and I get great sleep.

The exercise plan is staying consistent and keeping my body healthy and strong. The key to staying regular in the gym is making it really simple and not trying to do too much. If your workouts are 2 hours long, that is definitely not sustainable. You must follow a workout plan that you can keep doing for the rest of your life. All you need is to stimulate the muscles, rest, eat, and repeat. You do not need to be too extreme with your workouts for results.

Spine care is also really easy. You must maintain your spinal mobility, alignment, and strength for a healthy and pain-free spine. All your movements are dependent on a spine that moves and is in proper alignment. However, your spinal mobility must be stable so that your muscles have proper leverage. This is why spinal stabilization is key to maintaining normal movement and function.

I hope everyone has a great week!

Deja Vu ☔

Back to Alaska weather! This is the weirdest spring ever.

I had a terrific week living and teaching the Chiropractic Lifestyle. I really love getting in all my food for the day early on. This way I can spend my time in the later afternoon and evening doing fun activities. It does take some getting used to, especially if you have a family, but when you are in full swing, it’s really nice.

My workouts have been regular and I’m feeling great in the gym. I want to get outside more and do more hiking this summer. I’ve also been thinking about getting back into surfing. Summertime is a good time for paddling conditioning because the waves are typically nonexistent. We call it Lake Santa Cruz.

I’m thinking by next week the sun will be blazing 🌞
