Bye August it's been good ;)

Time is flying by! It's hard to believe it's almost September and I'm still maintaining my health through the Chiropractic Lifestyle. If you want to stay healthy and live a better life, the Chiropractic Lifestyle is the secret. First you need 100% power from the brain by keeping your spine clear of subluxations, second you need high quality fuel, like in the meal meals I teach and practice, and finally you need to move your body every day in the form of exercises and other activities you enjoy. The formula adds up to good health. No pills, potions or lotions needed.

Chiropractic Lifestyle food supplies for the week were affordable as ever:

Again no changes to my Chiropractic Lifestyle food plan this week:

Breakfast (9am) ~  Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Red Drink

Lunch (12pm) ~ 4 Hard boiled eggs, 1/2 cup quinoa, 2 tbs butter, 2 tbs Chia Seeds, 2 cups steamed carrots, and 2 cups steamed broccoli, seasonings (Turmeric, Sea Salt, Pepper, Frank's Hot Sauce)

Mid-Afternoon (3pm) ~ 2 cups nonfat yogurt, 2 cups blueberries, 1 banana, handful walnuts, cinnamon, and 2 tbs raw organic honey

Rain in August?!

That was a strange out of the blue storm we had Monday night. I was just leaving the gym and when I stepped outside I thought they washed the parking lot. Too funny...only in California I guess.

My food plan went really well last week. I just love sticking to the Chiropractic Lifestyle and enjoying great health. I had to attend a wedding party on Saturday and I literally ate anything and everything I wanted with no limitations. When you live a life based on the Chiropractic Lifestyle a little deviation from the plan does no harm at all. Health is all about what you do the majority of your time. It's not about restricting yourself from everything you enjoy all the time. Keep things in balance.

As usual the organic food supplies were affordable as ever:

I've been doing my weight training in the mornings and it feels great getting it done early. I think the morning is the best time to work out, that way you won't make excuses to miss your workout in the evening.

Tomorrow I'm getting my weekly spinal check up to clear my spine of subluxations. A clear spine equals full power to all my organs, muscles, and glands.

Movement - A vital component of health!

Moving is so essential for our health. Even when you have an injury you have to start moving as soon as possible. I experienced that a few weeks ago. I was practicing some martial arts with my friend and he over rotated my shoulder. I knew I strained a tendon and was kind of bummed out. I even took a little time off from the gym thinking I needed to rest it. Finally I couldn't wait any longer, I had to keep working out. So I went ahead and started doing some shoulder exercises. When doing them I was feeling my sore shoulder, however during one of my sets I felt a little pop followed by relief. I was amazed to find that my body actually adjusted itself and all it needed was the right movement to facilitate the adjustment. I am so happy that I decided to keep moving and not let pain stop me from my routine. Now my shoulder is back at 100% feeling better than ever. I've also experienced this with different back and neck pains. It's seems like very little rest is needed and returning to normal activities is imperative to help the healing. I have found the best teacher is experience. I learning that the Chiropractic Lifestyle is the secret to healthy living!

My fuel supplies this week were affordable as usual:

Breakfast (9am) ~  Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Red Drink

Lunch (12pm) ~ 4 Hard boiled eggs, 1/2 cup quinoa, 2 tbs butter, 2 tbs Chia Seeds, 2 cups steamed carrots, and 2 cups steamed broccoli, seasonings (Turmeric, Sea Salt, Pepper, Frank's Hot Sauce)

I'm going for my adjustment tomorrow by my amazing chiropractor to keep my body on full power. Hope everyone has a great week!

Already August!

It's funny that I read a lot of comments on the internet saying how expensive it is to eat healthy and organic. Obviously I'm showing how it's done. On average I'm only spending about $500 a month on food. I know people who eat junk food spend way more than that. I think it may be just an excuse to keep eating junk food. People need to take responsibility for their health and stop making excuses. I have the solution right here on my blog. I'm leading by example. I love my food plan. I look forward to eating every day. I'm not suffering and I'm not going broke. Try it out and tell a friend.

Here are my food supplies for the week and daily food plan:

Breakfast (9am) ~  Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Red Drink, 1 Organic Pear

Lunch (12pm) ~ 4 Hard boiled eggs, 1/2 cup quinoa, 2 tbs butter, 2 tbs Chia Seeds, 2 cups steamed carrots, and 2 cups steamed broccoli, seasonings (Turmeric, Sea Salt, Pepper, Frank's Hot Sauce)

Mid-Afternoon (3pm) ~ 2 cups nonfat yogurt, 2 cups blueberries, 1 banana, handful walnuts, cinnamon, and 2 tbs raw organic honey

Dinner (6pm) ~ Isalean Shake, 1 scoop Green Drink,

Evening (9pm) ~ Isalean Shake, 2 Organic Oranges

Snack ~ 2-4 servings (half the bag) of sunflower seeds.

As you can see I switched the shake back to the morning because I read an article that said eating yogurt on an empty stomach can kill the good bacteria. So hopefully this absorption. I also added sunflower seeds as a snack to increase my monounsaturated fat levels.

Hope everyone has a great week!
