Spring is here...no fooling!

I hope you had another great week living the Chiropractic Lifestyle! I'm really liking my change in the food plan. Even though I stop eating for 19 hours I'm still maintaining my strength levels and lean muscle mass. I highly recommend intermittent fasting. You can choose your eating window to fit your lifestyle.

Adapt and Overcome

I changed up my Chiropractic Lifestyle Food Plan so that I'm only eating during a 6-7 hour period of time. This allows my GI system to digest and assimilate all the nutrients without constant bombardment of continuous food intake. This also helps your body focus on repair and regeneration once digestion has completed.

The key with finding the right food plan that works for you is through experimentation. What works for me and my lifestyle may not work with you. Through trial and error, you will discover the best food plan.

Spring Has Sprung!

Who's ready for some fun in the sun?! I think I've had enough winter weather.

I hope everyone had another great week living the Chiropractic Lifestyle. The best thing you can do for your health and longevity is to live a simple life with daily activity, good food, and proper alignment.

Proper alignment refers to your body's posture. Gravity is constant and relentless, so the more hunched over you are, the more stress you will have on your body. This causes the body to wear out faster and leaves you more vulnerable to injury. It also causes your spine to become stiff and rigid. This can lead to spinal degenerative arthritis. Eventually, your spine can fuse together and not move at all, which can be disabling and limit function in the body dramatically.

The best way to keep your posture or spine in alignment is with regular exercises and stretches. Motion also needs to be restored and maintained in the spine and this is accomplished with chiropractic adjustments. All three working together keeps your spine healthy and strong for a lifetime!

Keep it Simple!

I hope everyone had a fantastic week living and practicing the Chiropractic Lifestyle!

Staying healthy is really simple. Always keep your eating plan and exercise plan as simple as possible. When you start making things too complex it's harder to stay on track. Less is always better than more only when you are consistent with your efforts.
