Lifetime Planning ⏳

It’s starting to feel like spring! I hope this keeps up. The cold weather is for the birds.

I see a lot of people on social media talking about getting ready for summer and getting serious about their workouts. I have also been seeing a lot of new people at the gym. I hope these people are successful and keep up the good work.

When you make health a lifestyle and not about vanity, then it’s a lot easier and more sustainable. You have to think about what is sustainable and something you can keep doing until you are 100.

This is especially important with food planning. If you dread eating each meal or don’t feel satisfied, then this is not sustainable. Like in my food plan, I absolutely love each meal. In fact, I look forward to each meal. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast. Eggs and potatoes are so delicious and incredible. I love it.

Also, your exercise has to be sustainable. You have to create an exercise plan that you can keep doing every day and still be effective. This plan should be specific to your goals and change ever so often for variety.

Remember it’s all about what you can keep doing for your whole life, not just for a reason or season. Health is your wealth, and once you lose it, you cannot buy it back. You have to prioritize your health every day.

Long Days Early Nights ⛱️

Wow, so I just read today that the Senate passed a bill that is canceling daylight savings time! That is so awesome.

I hope everyone had a great week. I’m loving my small modification with my meal plan. I started doing eggs with my potatoes, and it’s a great combo.

I also started doing only 20 minutes of cardio which is working a lot better for me. I was getting too ripped doing 40 minutes every day. I also have more time now for my weight training. The cool thing about going to the gym early in the morning is that you get it all done first and it gives you the rest of the day to do whatever else.

Well, keep pushing forward and get ready for the heat. Hopefully, it kicks in soon.

Spring Chicken ðŸĢ

Who is ready to spring forward?! If you know me, you know I’m not. I wish they would just leave the time a lot. I know in California they actually passed a law stating that there would be no more daylight savings time, but I think it got held up by Congress.

So, I switched my chicken and eggs around, now I have my eggs with my potatoes in the AM, and I eat my chicken thighs by themselves. It works great for me!

I’m also only doing 20 minutes of cardio before my weight training every day because I getting too ripped. 40 minutes was great for a while, but now breaking it back down to 20.

I hope you all enjoy your extra hour of daylight!
