Healthy Habits

Living the Chiropractic Lifestyle involves making small changes to your normal routines until they become habits. Health is not an episode or an event, but rather an accumulation of things you do on a regular basis. For example, let's say you are on a strict food regimen and one evening, while having dinner with some friends, you decide to break down and have a huge bowl of ice cream with chocolate cake. Most people would think, well that's it I ruined my diet, now I'm going to lose everything I worked so hard for. But the reality is one piece of cake or ice cream will not sabotage your results, as long as you only splurged that one time. If you continued to partake in the delicious high calorie, high sugar foods, then yes you will suffer negative consequences. It's not about what you do sometimes, it's about what you do most of the time. The habits you do on a regular basis determines a successful outcome.

The Chiropractic Lifestyle is based on helping you establish healthy habits. Don't worry if you fall of track sometimes. One bad meal, snack, or day won't ruin your health. Enjoy the moment and keep following the plan. This way you can enjoy life and be as healthy as you can be.
