If you ever get sick of living in California, then I would recommend going to Texas or Florida in August. I just got back from Tampa, Florida for some continuing education and the difference in weather is night and day compared to California. Over there it was extremely hot and humid and just plain miserable. The only way you can live there would be to have the AC running 24/7. Also, the food costs over there are more expensive than here, and the housing has tripled in cost over the past year. The only good thing was that gas was about $3.15 a gallon.
During my stay in Tampa,
I was in an Airbnb with access to the kitchen, so I was able to cook my own
meals each day. When you only eat one meal a day this is a great advantage when
you’re out of town.
The gyms over there were
basically the same as anywhere. They didn’t have a 24-hour fitness but they had
an LA Fitness. I didn’t really like
their machines, but the Stairmaster was better.
I hope everyone had a
great week. Stay strong and healthy.
